Review Requests
Turn good visits into reviews on Google and the sites that matter, and hear about problems while you can still fix them.
How it works
- Customers text your keyword. A sign at the counter says something like “Text DONUTS to (555) 555-3422 for 15% off your next visit.” Its QR code opens their texts with the keyword ready, and texting it joins your text club.
- They get one text back with their thank-you and a link to a short page in your own style.
- “How was your visit?” Everyone gets your review buttons for Google, Facebook and the other sites you choose. Anyone who answers “Not quite” also gets a private form that comes straight to you, so you can make it right.
The thank-you
Pick any of your coupons. With “Customer taps Use,” they tap Use it now at the counter and show a live pass for 15 minutes, and it counts as used. No app and no account needed. The thank-you is for visiting, never for leaving a review.
More ways to ask
- A web address on the sign for people who don’t text: they enter their email and get their link.
- Send it from Customer Loyalty, by text and/or email.
- Automatically when an order is finished or a valet car is picked up.
See what’s working
How many people started, how they answered, which review buttons they tapped, coupons used, and new text club members, all on one page. “Not quite” feedback comes to your email and is kept on your Feedback page.
Done the right way
Every customer gets the same chance to leave a review, as Google’s rules ask. Yelp isn’t included, because Yelp doesn’t allow businesses to ask for reviews. Texts carry the opt-out wording carriers require.
