Terms of Service

Effective October 18, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ThankU.Deals for using thanku.deals, your account pages at thanku.deals/my, the business dashboard, and the emails and text messages we send. By using ThankU.Deals you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use ThankU.Deals for a business, you agree to them for that business and confirm you’re allowed to.

1. What ThankU.Deals is

ThankU.Deals is a platform local businesses use to run rewards programs, offers, discount cards, waitlists, reservations, reminders, surveys, contests and messages with their customers. The businesses decide what they offer and how. ThankU.Deals isn’t the seller of a business’s products, services or rewards, and isn’t responsible for them.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to use ThankU.Deals, and if you’re under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission. Some contests are for adults only. To use ThankU.Deals for a business, you must be at least 18 and allowed to act for that business.

3. Your account

• Customers log in with a one-time code sent to their email or phone. Keep your email and phone secure: anyone who can read your codes can get into your account.
• Keep your contact details up to date, and remove ones you no longer use. A phone number that hasn’t been used to log in for a while needs an extra check before it opens your account, because phone numbers are sometimes given to someone new.
• One account per person. Tell us right away at info@thanku.deals if you think someone else has used your account.
• Business account holders are responsible for everything done by the people they give access to.

4. Rewards, offers, cards and purchases

• Rewards, points, stamps, offers and discount cards come from the business, which sets their rules and is responsible for honoring them. A business may change or end its program, as the law allows.
• Unless the business says otherwise, rewards and cards have no cash value, can’t be transferred or resold, and expire as shown on them, where the law allows.
• When you buy a discount card, you’re buying it from the business. Payments are processed by Stripe; ThankU.Deals may collect the payment for the business. Refunds are up to the business, except where the law requires otherwise.
• Rewards earned by fraud, such as fake visits, misused member codes or several accounts for one person, can be removed, and the account closed.
• If a business stops using ThankU.Deals, its program here ends. Please ask the business about anything you hadn’t used.

5. Waitlists, reservations and reminders

Wait times are estimates. The business decides when you’re seated and whether a reservation is confirmed. Reminders and updates are a courtesy: we work to deliver them, but can’t guarantee every message arrives on time.

6. Surveys and contests

Surveys and contests are run by the business, which is the sponsor and is responsible for the rules, eligibility, choosing winners, prizes and following the law. ThankU.Deals is not a sponsor. When you enter a photo or other content, you confirm it’s yours to share, and you allow the business to show it as part of that contest. Entries that break the rules or these terms can be removed.

7. Messages, emails and texts

• You’ll get emails and texts from a business only if you agreed to, plus the messages needed to use the service, like login codes. You can stop offers from any business at any time: use the link in the email, reply STOP to a text, or change your settings at thanku.deals/my. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.
• Messages in Conversations are between you and the business. The business can read them, and replies you send by email are added to the conversation.
• ThankU.Deals isn’t designed for medical, financial or other sensitive information. Please don’t send it in messages, survey answers or forms.

8. If you use ThankU.Deals for a business

Your responsibilities. Keep your business information accurate, honor the offers, rewards, cards and prizes you publish, and follow the laws that apply to you, including consumer protection, gift card, promotion and sweepstakes laws, privacy laws, the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and mobile carriers’ rules for text messaging.

Permission to contact people. Only add, import, email, text or message people who agreed to hear from you, and be ready to show when and how they agreed. Never upload bought or borrowed lists. People who opt out are removed automatically; don’t contact them another way to get around it.

Your customers’ information. Use the information of your customers on ThankU.Deals only for your relationship with them. Don’t sell it or use it for anything unrelated, and keep anything you export secure. For this information, ThankU.Deals acts on your instructions as your service provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Sensitive information. ThankU.Deals isn’t designed or certified to store protected health information or other regulated data, and we don’t sign HIPAA business associate agreements. Don’t use ThankU.Deals to send or store health details, financial account or card numbers, government ID numbers or similar information. Health offices and similar businesses should use the “only that there’s a new message” email setting and keep clinical details out of messages.

Fees and payouts. Plan fees are as shown on our Pricing page or as agreed with you in writing. For discount cards sold online, ThankU.Deals’ fee (currently 5% of each sale) and the payment processor’s fee come off the price.

• If you connect your own Stripe account, sales are charged on your account, and Stripe’s terms apply between you and Stripe.
• Otherwise ThankU.Deals collects the payment for you and pays you monthly once at least $25 is owed. Sales count toward a payout 7 days after payment, so recent refunds can come off first.
• You’re responsible for refunds, chargebacks and taxes on your sales.

Limits. We may limit or suspend sending, or an account, to deal with spam complaints, carrier or provider rules, suspected fraud, unpaid fees or a breach of these terms. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.

Leaving. You can export your customer lists before you go. After that, information is kept or deleted as our Privacy Policy describes.

9. Rules for everyone

Don’t use ThankU.Deals to:

• Break the law or anyone’s rights, or send spam or messages people didn’t agree to.
• Harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or pretend to be someone else.
• Post content that’s illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or that you don’t have the right to share.
• Get into accounts or information that aren’t yours, test or get around our security, or interfere with the service.
• Collect information from the site with automated tools, or upload viruses or harmful code.
• Cheat rewards programs, surveys or contests, for example with fake entries or several accounts.

10. Your content

You keep ownership of what you put on ThankU.Deals, such as messages, photos, survey answers and, for businesses, your logos, offers and pages. You give ThankU.Deals permission to store, copy, process and display it as needed to run the service for you and the businesses you deal with. You’re responsible for your content, and we may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

11. The service

We may change, add or remove features. We work to keep ThankU.Deals running smoothly, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and we can’t guarantee it will be free of errors. Parts of the service depend on other companies, such as Stripe, Twilio, Mailgun and mobile carriers, and we’re not responsible for what they do, including messages they delay or don’t deliver.

12. Ending

You can delete your account at any time from thanku.deals/my (Account › Delete my account). Businesses can close their account by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or where the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as disclaimers, limits of liability, responsibility for claims and disagreements) still apply after an account ends.

13. Disclaimers

ThankU.Deals is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including any implied promises that the service is fit for a particular purpose. Offers, rewards, cards, contests and messages come from the businesses, not from ThankU.Deals.

14. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, ThankU.Deals isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about ThankU.Deals is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid ThankU.Deals in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

15. Responsibility for claims

If someone makes a claim against ThankU.Deals because of your content, your breaking these terms or the law, or, for businesses, your offers, contests, messages or dealings with your customers, you’ll cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

16. Disagreements

If you have a problem, please contact us first at info@thanku.deals and give us 30 days to try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts in Michigan, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

17. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also let account holders know by email before it takes effect. Using ThankU.Deals after a change means you accept the new terms.
